The new BA427 Solar Digital Battery and System Tester with Integrated Printer, Model No. BA427, offers a complete testing solution for 6 and 12 Volt batteries and 6, 12 and 24 Volt charging systems. Compatible with a wide variety of battery types, it features easy, intuitive operation with quick, accurate assessment of battery condition and starting and charging system performance.

Testing is quick and easy and allows the operator to perform either a battery test, system test or both from the home screen. The tester walks through the test sequence, prompting for key pieces of information and guiding the operator from one step to the next. The tester provides accurate assessment of both charged and discharged batteries and features temperature compensation for improved accuracy. It will test 6 and 12 Volt batteries with an operating range of 40-2000 CCA and will provide an analysis of 6, 12 and 24 Volt starting and charging systems. It is compatible with a wide variety of battery types, including Conventional, Maintenance Free, AGM, Gel Cell, Marine and Deep Cycle batteries.

The tester’s integrated printer provides easy service documentation. The printing sequence is clear and quick, with a completed printout in just seconds. The printer uses standard thermal paper that is readily available at any office supply store. In addition, the printing stage can be easily bypassed if a printout is not necessary. The printer operates independently from the battery being tested and will print results regardless of battery voltage. The tester also incorporates a number of features that improve convenience during testing, including reverse polarity protection, extra-long cable leads reaching 10’, a fully adjustable, brightly backlit screen for clear viewing in bright or low light environments and a convenient case for safe, secure storage.

Optional Accessories: Volt Probe and Amp Clamp. The BA427 allows for attachment of two different available accessories: a Volt Probe and an Amp Clamp. While these two accessories are not included with the unit, they are available under the following model numbers: Volt Probe – Model BAA7, Amp Clamp, 600A – Model BAA8

The BA427 tester can store up to 1000 test result for later downloading via the available PC software. Your BA427 comes with free access to download battery management software to maximize the value of the tester for busy service operations. The software will allow you to store and track the battery and system tests performed over an extended period of time. Your tester included a card indicating how to download the battery management software.
