With the introduction of the new HFO-1234yf refrigerant to the automotive market, vehicle manufacturers worldwide have developed new standards for vehicle A/C service. Included in these standards is the requirement to verify the purity of the refrigerant prior to recovery of the refrigerant in the system. The Legend ID is a worldwide ready tool to meet the service needs of HFO-1234yf equipped vehicles. It is certified to the SAE J2912 standard and connects directly to SAE J2843 and J3030 AC Service machines that have an external analyzer USB port.
The Neutronics Legend Series takes refrigerant analysis to a new level by combining the performance of Ultima ID with the outstanding feedback received from our customers. A sealed control panel, large color screen and multiple languages highlight the new features. The Legend provides a fast, easy and accurate means to determine refrigerant purity in refrigerant storage cylinders or directly in vehicle air conditioning systems. The instrument is supplied complete with couplers for both R134a and R1234yf, (2) R1234yf sample hoses, (2) R134a sample hoses, an AC power supply, tank adapters for both R1234yf and R134a, Bluetooth module, built-in printer, an internal rechargeable battery and all required plumbing housed within a rugged, portable, storage case.
