OTC 6689 Chrysler / Jeep Cam Tool Set - The Chrysler/Jeep cam timing tools are provided to ensure correct cam timing when servicing timing belts, chains, head gaskets, or performing other valve train repairs. The 15 included tools are based on OE designs.

    • 1998–2004 2.7 V6 engine
    • 1989–1995 2.0 I-4 Mitsubishi engine
    • 1991–1997 3.0 V6 Mitsubishi engine
    • 1981–1993 2.2 & 2.5 I-4 engines
    • 1999–2004 4.7 V8 engine
    • 2002–2004 3.7 V6 engine
Cam positioning is an IMPORTANT procedure. If cam timing is not correct, the engine may still run, but emissions and mileage will be affected. The engine computer may also initiate the “Check Engine” light
