1.5 Amp 12 Volt Automatic On-Board Automotive Charger, on-board charging and automatic operation, the Solar 1002 combines convenience and reliable charging power in a lightweight, compact design. Perfect for keeping seasonal use batteries in top condition. This charger uses a voltage regulating control circuit that continually monitors the battery voltage and automatically turns the output on and off, safeguarding against overcharge. This battery charger is designed to remain connected to the battery.
An accessory cord is provided, when a charge is needed simply attach the supply cord to the inlet tap and the charger does the rest, automatically charging the battery. When the charge is complete simply remove the cord and down the road you go. Ring terminals supply the connection to the battery terminals. The unit can be mounted virtually any where, a fender, a supply box or directly on the battery.
